GGPoker cheats: what Google shows for it, and the cases GGPoker has put on record
On 24 October 2026 we read the first page of Google for four GGPoker cheat searches. Not one of the 32 slots sells a card-viewing tool. What fills them is video, forum arguments about banned accounts, and news about ban sweeps. GGPoker's own security policy, which we read in full, is stricter than most players assume.
We read the first eight organic results for each of four queries on 24 Oct 2026 (Google, English, US location). Many results repeat across queries.
Card-viewing tool or bot promotions: none in 32 slots. On our ClubGG review of 13 October the same count was nine.
GGPoker’s own policy appears in one slot out of 32, on the query that contains “RTA ban”. Google showed no AI summary on any of the four.
Documented by the room or the press: 40 accounts banned and 40 warned in 2020 ($1.175 million confiscated from 13 of them, 4,329 players repaid); 31 accounts blocked in 2025 together with GTO Wizard; a client-side flaw confirmed in late 2023.
Fresh and unconfirmed by GGPoker: a 2 October 2026 report that two sites were warned about one account, and one of them banned it.
What fills the page
The four phrases were “gg poker cheats”, “ggpoker cheat”, “ggpoker hack” and “ggpoker cheating bots RTA ban”. For each we took the first eight organic results and recorded the source and the snippet. Google hides the destination addresses behind redirects, so we classified from the displayed domain and snippet, and we opened nothing that offered a download.
| Type of result | Slots of 32 | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Forum, Reddit, Facebook, X | 11 | Threads about “superusers” and suspicious win rates (two over 170 comments, about two years old), a Reddit thread on a recent mass ban, a Facebook post on whether banned players should be reinstated, a gambling forum thread, a pro’s post on X about a confirmed flaw |
| News and explainers | 8 | The 2020 sweep, the 2025 sweep, a 2 October 2026 report on a “superuser” account, a casino-affiliate explainer on RTA and ghosting |
| Video | 8 | A commentary video on a suspected superuser (470,000+ views) appears on three of four queries, its mirror on a video aggregator on the same three, and two other creators’ videos on one query each |
| Strategy | 3 | One “Ultimate GGPoker Cheat Sheet” from a coaching site, a preflop and positional strategy summary, on three of four queries |
| Reference | 1 | Wikipedia’s “Cheating in poker” |
| The operator | 1 | GGPoker’s security policy |
| Tools for sale | 0 | None |
The “People also ask” boxes, where they appeared, asked “Is using AI in online poker cheating?” and “Can AI win at online poker?”, nothing about a download. Two queries had no such box.
Compare the ClubGG page, which has the same size of sample: nine promotions for a card viewer, three for a bot vendor, and no clubgg.com. ClubGG is owned by GGPoker, so the gap follows the type of room and not the owner. Our guess is that a regulated room with a long news record crowds sellers out of its own name. The overview lists this as a question, and a fourth data point does not settle it.
Cases on record
Real-time assistance, 2020. Poker Industry PRO reported on 5 October 2020 that GGPoker had banned 40 accounts and warned 40 more. Thirteen of the banned accounts had their funds confiscated, $1.175 million in total, and “all this money has been returned to players impacted”. The article counts 4,329 players compensated. GGPoker did not say what each account did, and the trade press understood that it would not, because that would show how detection works. The room’s own line was that RTA “is detectable”.
Solver-assisted play, 2025. On a Friday at the end of February 2025 GGPoker said it had blocked 31 accounts “in collaboration with GTOWizard” for breaking its fair-play rules, and the article dated 1 March adds that the room’s integrity ambassador said the bans would extend to live WSOP events. GGPoker had not confirmed that part at the time of writing. Our page on bots and RTA covers the method, and how cheats get caught covers what a room watches for.
A flaw in the client, late 2023. The “superuser” label comes from this case. A Two Plus Two thread of 28 December 2023 alleged one account was winning at 90bb/100 over 8,900 hands, and a gambling-forum thread of 2 January 2024 says GGPoker acknowledged barring a player over a “superuser” scheme. The post on X in the results quotes the room as saying the player “exploited a client-side vulnerability that gave him access to all-in win percentages”. The snippet cuts off after “(not”; on 13 October a snippet showed the rest as “hole cards”. Per that post the room’s own account is that equity data leaked and cards did not. We did not read the original statement.
A PokerNews report dated 2 October 2026 says two sites were warned about one account before the matter became public, and that one of them banned it, confiscated $100,000 and refunded players. A second outlet adds that the alleged cause was remote-access software pushed to a small group of high-stakes players through tampered updates of third-party table tools, according to one tool maker’s own notice, between June 2025 and January 2026. The same outlet says a coach reported the account’s results to GGPoker in September and that the room got in touch about it. Neither the outlet nor we say more about what GGPoker found. The ban and the $100,000 confiscation were confirmed by CoinPoker’s ambassadors, not by GGPoker. We name no account and no person here, since none of this has been established in a court.
What GGPoker’s policy says
We read the Security & Ecology Policy on 24 October. ggpoker.com did not load from our connection, so the text comes from the operator’s partner-site copy, which has no date. It says material changes are notified by email and a login pop-up.
- Bots. “A human must decide what action to take and the exact size of any bet or raise. Any tool or service which reads the current game state and gives a user aid on decisions is strictly prohibited.” The client may scan running applications and processes and compare them with profiles of known programs. Stated penalty: permanent ban and confiscation.
- Real-time assistance. Defined as any outside help that “influences their decision-making in real time”, and it includes “software, apps, websites, physical reference materials and digital reference materials”. Penalty: suspension, permanent ban or confiscation.
- Tools. HUDs, data mining of hands and tools that assist game selection are listed as prohibited. A hotkey that bets half the pot is allowed. One that bets a random amount between half and three quarters is not.
- Ghosting and collusion. Playing on someone’s behalf is banned, as is sharing hole cards in real time. Soft play against friends or backers is banned, with an exception around the money bubble.
- Money. Confiscation can cover the poker wallet, the main wallet and pending withdrawals, to compensate affected players. Security Team decisions are “final”.
We found no section telling a player where to send a report. A Game Integrity page exists in the help centre, per a search result, and we did not read it.
What this means at the table
A chart open during play is on the wrong side of the room’s own definition, so check before downloading a “cheat sheet” for use mid-session. Study away from the table and the same file is only study.
Suspicion alone proves little. The 2023 thread built its case on 8,900 hands, and the room’s confirmed finding concerned equity data. If you think something is wrong, keep hand histories with timestamps, write to the room’s support, and expect a statement that says little. GGPoker’s record shows it acts and publishes counts, without giving reasons.
On a club app the position is different, and our club apps page explains why. Is online poker rigged? deals with the separate question of shuffles.
Suspect something at your GGPoker tables?
If what you want is to know what is going on at your tables (bots, real-time assistance, collusion), talk to someone who works in this space. A direct conversation on Telegram: what is real, what is a scam, what it costs you. No download, no license fee, no hard sell.
Telegram groupIs there a GGPoker hack that shows opponents' cards?
We found no seller of one. In 32 slots across four searches there was no download page, no promo video for a card viewer and no Telegram contact. The only hack in the results is a client-side flaw that GGPoker confirmed in late 2023, which exposed all-in win percentages, as a pro's post on X quotes the room. As quoted, the flaw leaked equity data and not hole cards; we did not read the original statement and ran nothing ourselves. A tool that shows hole cards would need the server to send them, and for a server-dealt game we assume it does not.
Can GGPoker detect real-time assistance?
The room says yes. In its 2020 statement it called the worry that RTA cannot be detected 'patently false'. It banned 40 accounts that year and 31 more in 2025, and in neither case published how it found them. Banned players dispute individual bans in public threads, so the outcomes are documented and the method is not.
What happens to the money on a banned GGPoker account?
The policy lists confiscation as a possible action, and says it can reach 'your main wallet as well as any pending withdrawals', not only the poker balance. In 2020 the confiscated sum from 13 accounts, $1.175 million, was paid out to 4,329 players. Where no confiscation is announced, as one Reddit poster says of a recent wave, we have only that poster's word.
Is a GGPoker 'cheat sheet' allowed at the table?
A strategy summary you study away from the table is ordinary learning. The policy is firm about use during play: 'Referring to charts of any kind during play is strictly prohibited.' A preflop chart open on a second screen falls under the room's definition of external assistance, whatever the page that sold it called itself.
